Refund Policy

WelcomeMAT is a subscription software service operated by Obbema Labs. There are no physical goods to return. This policy explains when subscription fees are refundable and how to request a refund. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service.
Monthly Subscriptions
You can cancel a monthly subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then. Unused time within an already-paid month is not refunded.
Annual Subscriptions
When annual plans are offered, they are refundable on a prorated basis within the first 60 days of the billing period only. After 60 days, the annual subscription is non-refundable but cancellation will prevent the next renewal.
Generated Reports
Once a PDF report (MAT remittance, bylaw compliance, or analytics export) has been generated and delivered, the service has been provided. Generated reports are not refundable separately from the underlying subscription.
Billing Errors
If you were charged in error — duplicate charges, charges after cancellation, or an incorrect amount — we will issue a full refund of the affected charge. Please contact us within 60 days of the charge.
Service Outages
Extended service outages may be eligible for service credits at Obbema Labs' discretion, in accordance with any service-level commitments in our Terms of Service.
How Payments Are Processed
WelcomeMAT subscriptions are processed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record. Approved refunds are issued through Paddle and typically appear on your card or bank statement within 5–10 business days. The refund line on your statement will show Paddle alongside the WelcomeMAT name.
How to Request a Refund
Email [email protected] with the email address on your account and a brief description of the charge. We respond to refund requests within 2 business days.
